Moldovite: Make Sense of Life from Your Soul’s Perspective

Hello and welcome back to The Schapera Show where Viv and Neil explore this big adventure called Life. This is the part of the show where I talk to stones and about stones, and our stone guest today is Moldavite. Moldavite isn’t actually earthly, but a tektite – which means it is extraterrestrial material that formed from meteoritic action. Moldavite is one of those minerals that comes from only one location, and in this instance, that location is the Czech Republic.

I think I would like to share how Moldavite got chosen as today’s guest. We just got back from a long trip and I didn’t know which stone to choose for this show. I walked around the house looking at stones but got no clear inspiration. “I know,” I thought, “I will just open Melody’s book and see who is on the page that the book opens to,” and on that page was Moldavite. Perfect! I use Moldavite in a number of ways just generally and also in Crystal Surgery.

The first way in which I engage the properties of Moldavite is as a protective stone that I wear. Moldavite has an extremely high vibrational frequency that many can detect just by holding the stone. What one may experience, if sensitive to this kind of thing, is a buzzing sensation throughout one’s body. This is the effect of Moldavite raising your vibrational frequency. Interestingly enough, the way that Moldavite is protective is that via its high frequency it sets up a screen in your energy field so that lower vibrational dynamics, like psychic attack, cannot penetrate. This is ideal because we want our energy fields to be permeable to positive dynamics even whilst protecting us from the negative. This screen is in contrast to say Peridot, which sets up a wall, preventing all exchanges of energy. Before jumping to any conclusions about which is better, remember that sometimes we want and need a wall. “Better” depends on the situation and there is no measure other than “appropriateness.”

I have found that faceted Moldavite has a better propensity for setting up this fast-vibrating screen than a raw stone. You can wear Moldavite as earrings, a pendant, a bead necklace and a ring. It is better if the Moldavite is not in a pocket, or hidden under clothes, but visible, in the open and able to refract and reflect the light.

Spirit Report: The Importance and Significance of animals in Shamanism

Hi there!

You are listening to the Schapera Show, and I am Neil, bringing you reports of my Shamanic Journeys to the Spirit Realm, and the guidance that the benevolent Spirits give us.

I recently returned from a wonderful Journey to Africa, and this inspired me to talk today, about The Importance and Significance of Animals in Shamanism

Shamanism is probably the oldest Spiritual practice (at least 40,000 years old), and is deeply rooted in animism—the understanding, through experience, that all things, including rocks, plants, and animals, possess a Spiritual essence.

Across all Shamanic cultures and traditions, animals play a vital role in Shamanic practices and understandings, serving as Teachers, protectors, and sources of wisdom. Whether in Native American, Siberian, South American, or African Shamanic traditions, animals are highly revered for their Spiritual significance and their ability to connect humans with the higher Spiritual Realms.

Animism is the understanding that all things—so called “living” and “nonliving”—possess a Spiritual essence or consciousness. This worldview is especially prominent in indigenous Spiritual traditions and plays a central role in Shamanism.

In the context of Shamanism, animism means: Nature is alive and interconnected: Mountains, rivers, trees, animals, and even weather patterns are seen as beings with Spirits rather than inanimate objects.

Guest Post: Naturally Achieving Optimal Health – 7 Easy Tips

Staying healthy doesn’t mean living a life of deprivation but rather one of moderation and active choices. For optimal health, you must pay attention to how you care for yourself. Read the following tips for achieving optimal health, and figure out what works best for you.

Connect with Others

Humans are social creatures and need social interaction to thrive. Avoid becoming isolated, and ensure you schedule time for activities you enjoy outside of work or school. The risk of isolation increases if you work from home. Make it a point to socialize often, stay in touch with coworkers, and limit your workday to certain hours.

Manage Work Stress

Work stress can affect your mental and physical health, so it’s vital to find ways to manage it. One way to do this is to create a daily routine and stick to it as much as possible.

Your mental health can also benefit from a change in occupations if your current position is no longer stimulating or you’re ready for a change. Consider taking an online professional development course. If you have experience with medical coding, for instance, you could advance your career by enrolling in one of the leading medical coding courses w/ a certificate. This teaches you to assign the proper codes and identify claims and medical procedures. You can take a test to verify your skills at the end, which will enable you to switch careers.

Blue Lace Agate: Stone of Self-Expression

Welcome back to The Schapera Show, where Viv and Neil explore this big adventure called Life. This is the part of the show when Vivien speaks to crystals, and today, I am in conversation with Blue Lace Agate.

I first encountered crystals when I was 10 years old, and Blue Lace Agate is one of those stones that I grew up with. I knew that Blue Lace Agate came from South Africa, but I didn’t realize it only comes from Southern Africa – actually Namibia – except for a very few small deposits in other localities like Brazil and the USA.

Blue Lace Agate is a chalcedony, and chalcedony has a host of healing properties. But what is remarkable about Blue Lace Agate is the color – the shade – of blue, and the nature of the banded pattern. I was lucky enough to acquire a Blue Lace Agate egg many years back, that taught me all about the significance of this pattern.

The information came forward when I asked my guides: “What is the best stone for the throat chakra?” And my guides responded with another question: “For developing the throat chakra or for supporting the throat chakra?” It turned out that the best stone for supporting the throat chakra is Sapphire, and the best stone for developing the throat chakra is Blue Lace Agate. Of course, this is a big generalization, because for any particular individual, the individual need can be different with regard to what’s “best.”
