Neil: Hello and welcome to The Schapera Show where Viv and Neil explore this big adventure called Life. Yes, that’s right, we have something different today as you can tell because I am introducing the show and that’s because this month’s guest is none other than Vivien! So, I will be asking the questions and Vivien will be giving us the answers and let’s hope she does a decent job. Welcome, Vivien, you’re going to talk about your book today, aren’t you?

Vivien: Thank you, Neil, yes, we can talk about my various books, but most importantly, I want to talk about my most recent publication which is a new edition of my very first book, How to Establish and Maintain a Strong Client Base a handbook for people who want to earn a living doing what they love.

Neil: Oh, so this is a revision of a book that you wrote a long time ago?

Vivien: Yes, I wrote the first version specifically for Alexander Teachers, back in 1996, and it was published in serial form, chapter-by-chapter, in our professional journal, and then we also made photocopied manuals which we used when we taught workshops on the topic.

Then, in 2004, I revised the manual so that it could be a handbook for all client-based businesses, not just us Alexander Teachers.

Spirit Report: Fill Your Sails with Love

 

The purpose of this Journey is to travel to the Upper World and request the compassionate benevolent Spirits of the Upper World, the Spirit Teachers, for a helpful constructive message for humans in 2025. Is there constructive guidance for the human race, especially now in 2025?

I’m at my mountain ledge that I use to ascend to the Upper World. And I’m going up, it was interesting this time, the method of going up was like a large tube with an inner spiraling staircase that I have started ascending. I’ve done something like this before, but not in a long while.

As I walk up the steps, the rotation gets quicker and quicker, and now I’m being gently propelled upwards. The steps are not there anymore.  I’m taken up this tube and I’m setting my intention on the Upper World to find the Spirit Teachers of the Upper World and make my request for a useful message.

I’m deliberately phrasing it as “a useful message”. I had initially thought of requesting a message of hope or a message of compassion. I think that was presumptuous. So, I’ve deliberately broadened it to allow for all kinds of answers—a message, a useful message.

I’m continuously going up and waiting to see what shows in the Upper World. I’m taken to a very familiar clearing in a very wooded area, a lot of tall trees around, but there’s this clearing. I’ve been here many times before, and the Spirits have shown themselves.

I see one of my Spirit Teachers immediately. She’s extremely powerful. She says, come with me. And almost instantaneously, we’re transported to the top of tall hill or a low mountain, looking over a very wide expanse of landscape.

She says to me, she’s reminding me that this has been symbolic in the past when I’ve been asked to look out over a wide, expansive area, that the viewpoint that one takes on a situation, the landscape of our lives or the landscape of existence depends very much on whether we are having a narrowed down vision viewpoint, or as is in this case, a very wide expanse going out to the edges of the horizon and the sky above.

Spirit Report: Visit a Beautiful place to overcome stress and despair

 

Hi there!

You are listening to the Schapera Show, and I am Neil, bringing you reports of my Shamanic Journeys to the Spirit Realm, and the guidance that the benevolent Spirits give us.

The purpose of this journey is to travel to the Lower World and request that the beloved Spirits of the Lower World, the Spirits in animal form to show me—for the benefit of all of us—a beautiful place that would inspire us to overcome the stresses and despair that we may be feeling at the moment.

I’m immediately going into the tree where there’s my portal to go to the Lower World, and I ease my way through and down. Now, I’m descending through space toward what looks like the planet Earth—but it’s actually the Lower World,.

I’m much closer now, gliding over the Lower World, wondering where I will be guided to descend and hopefully be shown this beautiful place. I see a whole lot of lights coming up from the ground into the sky. They’re colored and glistening—red, white, purple, blue. It’s like an odd kind of fireworks display, except there are no bursts of color, just streams of light going up. It seems like something is attracting me or wanting me to notice it—it’s very noticeable.

Straight away, I get a message from the Spirit World saying: Notice the beauty. There is so much beauty around us. It may be obvious, but we just haven’t bothered to look, or it might not be obvious at all. If we observe our surroundings with the intention of I wish to see the beauty, let me notice the beauty, then we will see it.

They give me an example of the cicada. At first glance, one might think of it as an insect that one doesn’t like and doesn’t want flying around. But actually, if one looks closely at a cicada, it’s a really beautiful, beautiful object. Similarly, there are all kinds of instances of things which, if we would only not react to with negativity but really look at, we would be amazed at the beauty—the amount of beauty that surrounds us.

Crystal Surgery • What Stones help with depression • Crystal Healing Technique

Crystal Surgery is a new style of crystal healing, founded in the 1990’s by Vivien Schapera.

In Crystal Surgery, the crystals are used in very specific ways as tools for “operating” on both the energy field and the energy body. The energy field is the electromagnetic force field, which emanates from the physical body and the energy body, and surrounds the physical body. The energy body is the energetic duplicate of the physical body and is made up of etheric tissue. Etheric tissue consists of “materials” from the etheric dimension, in contrast to the physical body, which is made up of materials from the earthly dimension.

Originally, the Crystal Surgery techniques were comprised mostly of procedures for “operating.” The Healer holds and uses the crystals like scalpels and other surgical instruments, and applies the crystals to skills such as scraping, cutting, cleaning, suctioning and stitching. 

Crystals are an ideal instrument for such activities: Imagine that you are a chef and you
have a magical knife. This magical knife can sense the food properties as it cuts, and as it senses, it can also deliver the precise ingredients that will balance and harmonize the flavors of the entire dish you are creating. And that is not all! Additionally the knife can develop a bond with you, and begin to communicate telepathically, giving you all manner of salient information. Well, that is what crystals can do in Crystal Surgery! Crystals can be used as tools for specific “surgical”actions, whilst they simultaneously adjust wavelength and chemistry.

Spring Semester 2025 is the last semester of Study Group per the current design.

The semester is not open to any new students enrolling without being screened by Vivien.

Bachelor’s Study Group will be at 11am.ET. There will definitely be new ways to complete the Bachelor’s certification.

Master’s Study Group will be at 1pm.ET. If you want your Master’s certification it is essential to register for this semester. There will be an indefinite delay in figuring out a new design for the Master’s Study Group.

Registration will begin in February. Please register by February 28.

Zoom Classes: March 8, April 5, May 10, June 7

Graduation will be on Saturday June 7th, after the scheduled Zoom Class

Topaz: I am Here to Make You Smile

Hello and welcome back to The Schapera Show where Viv and Neil explore this big adventure called Life. This is the part of the show where I, Vivien, talk to and about crystals. Our crystal guest today is Topaz.

Topaz was one of the very first stones I learned about as a young girl, because it is often used as a gem stone in rings. Every time I saw a stone that I admired, I would ask my mother “what’s that?” and it seemed like she would always answer: “Topaz.” That’s probably why I have 2 giant pieces of gem cut Topaz, one in blue and one in a very light peach color. That’s part of the beauty of Topaz – it comes in an assortment of colors.

•     Blue Topaz: This is a popular and common type, with shades ranging from light to dark blue. 
•     Pink Topaz: A relatively rare color, ranging from light to medium pink. 
•     Imperial Topaz: The rarest and most valuable variety, known for its warm hues of peach, pink, and orange. 
•     Yellow Topaz: A common color, including golden and sherry topaz. 
•     Mystic Topaz: A natural colorless topaz that has been coated with a thin layer, creating a rainbow-like effect. 
•     Azotic Topaz: An orange-pink topaz with a rainbow-like color effect, achieved through a thin metallic layer coating. 
•     Colorless Topaz: Also known as white topaz, this is a colorless form that can be used as a substitute for diamonds in some jewelry. 

It is very important to be aware that Topaz is treated in various ways, like irradiation and coating, to achieve these colors. Nonetheless, if a stone is appealing to you, and has a healthy vibration, these treatments can be considered “an enhancement” rather than “a fake.” I will admit that I used to look down on dyed and treated stones, but after a conversation with Howlite, which is a stone that gets dyed to disguise it as another more valuable stone, I changed my mind. This was similar to when I spoke to Aqua Aura. Here’s the thing – of course a stone that has achieved optimal coloration by natural means is both rare and valuable, stones that have been assisted by a man induced imitation carry a very special charge – a synergy between humanity and the mineral kingdom. Of course, sometimes a treatment can go too far, and can “burn” the minerals, and that is definitely not good.

Vivien in Conversation with Cara Bastone – Her Journey as a Romance Author

This month’s guest is bestselling author, Cara Bastone, the first fiction writer to be interviewed on The Schapera Show. Vivien was hugely inspired by Cara’s book Promise Me Sunshine, and here’s how Vivien introduces the topic:

Vivien: Well as most of our listeners already know, for many years, Neil and I went through a very rough patch and during that rough patch I found it extremely hard to focus my mind and read. Rose Quartz: See Your Soul’s Journey

Hello and welcome back to The Schapera Show. Today, I’ve made a big decision. Even though I have spoken to Rose Quartz before on this show, I want to speak to Rose Quartz again today. Why? Because Rose Quartz was the first stone that I ever encountered, and these days, it has become one of my new “favorites.”

I will admit that historically, Kunzite has been my favorite heart stone, so it’s a very big surprise for me to feel this shift in loyalty. Vivien Interviews Joanne Franchina - I believe in making the world a better place by making myself better

 

Vivien: Hello and welcome to The Schapera Show where Viv and Neil explore this big adventure called Life.
Our guest today is my friend and colleague Joanne Franchina. Joanne is a Life Coach, Medium, and Teacher, and she is the founder of Inner Compass, a Cincinnati-based intuitive life coaching practice. Hi Joanne, thank you for coming on the show.

Joanne: Thank you, Vivien, I’m glad to be here.

Vivien: Joanne, I’m really pleased to get this chance to interact with you, because you are one of the iconic figures in the metaphysical community of Cincinnati, and you are one person in particular who “got me comfortable” with accepting my own identity as a metaphysical person. You see, I don’t find the “woo-woo” image at all appealing and didn’t want to be identified as a “woo woo” person — but when I saw how you and your mom, Jaccolyn, carried off your identities, I felt “safer.”

Joanne: Yes, that’s right! I come from a long line of clairvoyant mediums and energy healers. I was born down the road from a small town in New York called Lily Dale, a mecca for Spiritualists. And a mecca for me. I have returned there nearly every summer of my life. But I grew up a typical kid in a happy home — actually, many happy homes as my father’s career in retail management meant our family moved households twelve times before I was graduated from high school.

Vivien: That’s the thing, isn’t it — we’re regular people aren’t we! We also go to school and college, get married, have children. Even though we’re able to connect with the etheric realm, we still have to live a “normal” life here on the earth, like everybody else. In this “normal” life, did you go to college?

Joanne: Yes, I did. And it’s true — I had to come to my identity on my own, in my own way, building it for myself. I received a bachelor’s degree in English and Political Science from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. I gained extensive corporate experience in telecommunications and information technology as a technical writer, training course developer, and quality assurance manager.

In fact, it was the stresses of juggling motherhood and a successful professional career that brought me to learn meditation and life-coaching skills in 1996. My extraordinary experiences with meditation and the power of intention led me to further studies of metaphysical and spiritual subjects that ultimately resulted in a career change of a higher order.

Red Garnet: Pushes Out Negativity

Garnet is definitely one of my favorite stones, since I was a little girl and my piano teacher showed us her ring with garnets. This was no ordinary teacher, this teacher, Margaret Baird, was the wife of TV inventor, John Logie Baird – believe it or not!!! That made her famous to me, but so did her garnets, because she had found the raw stones herself one day, when playing outside.

While we associate Rubies with the color red, Rubies actually have a pink cast, whereas Garnets are a very deep, rich red color. I tend to use Red Uvite as my red root chakra stone, but Red Uvite is both rare and expensive, so I asked Red Uvite what a good alternate stone is and it said: “Garnet, of course!” as if I was being a particularly dumb student. And it’s true, I was being a bit dumb because once I was told, I have to admit it was blatantly obvious.

But that’s not all. Red Uvite is appealing to me, because Uvite has the capacity to “pull out” negativity. Garnet on the other hand “pushes out” negativity. And as I’m talking to Garnet, it is saying: “But Vivien, not only that — Uvite comes in red, green and black … and so does Garnet. Garnet also comes in red, green and black.” Wow, what one only learns when one bothers to tune in! And now that I’ve brought this into conscious clarity, Garnet is asking me to specify that today I am talking to Red Garnet — as Green Garnet definitely deserves a conversation of its own.

As I already said, Red Garnet is a fantastic Root Chakra stone. One year, I bought a bunch of Garnets, and had Red Garnet slices made. These are very convenient to use in several ways — as a Chakra stone, definitely, and also, we hold these Garnet slices on the soles of the feet. This is a straightforward technique, easy to do, that delivers an excellent effect — namely, this opens the flow between the chakras. One of the most important dynamics in a healing session is to get the chakras to harmonize and work cooperatively. If the flow from chakra to chakra is blocked, then energy cannot flow correctly through the energy system — so the Garnet’s capacity to invite, and catalyze, this flow is very significant. I have recently been inspired to place these Garnet slices on top of the hands, during the healing session, where the stones can achieve a similar result, even whilst the practitioner is attending to other techniques and procedures.
